This park is conveniently located right next to the beach at Caister-on-Sea meaning that you can slip out of the park and enjoy a refreshing paddle in the sea first thing in the morning. If that idea does not sound appealing then maybe you could enjoy a picnic on the beach whilst watching the sunrise or sunset.
Don’t worry if we have the traditional summer weather of rain as there is still plenty of fun to be had on the park itself. Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool with water-based program of activities, sports court with coaching sessions available for Football, Archery and Fencing.
If you are a budding explorer then check out the climbing wall and abseiling course where there are different routes up based on your climbing experience but the best bit for me is the abseil back down! Or maybe you fancy have a go at rollerblading but try to stay on two feet otherwise you might find yourself the laughing stock of your kids.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite then you’ll be pleased to hear that you are spoilt for choice of places to enjoy a meal. There’s the Mash and Barrel Lounge-Bar-Café, 3 takeaways - Papa John’s, Fish and Chip shop and a Chinese Takeaway – where you can collect a meal to enjoy back in your caravan or you can enjoy a meal in the park’s own pub, the Old Cottage Inn.
